ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES:

We believe that architecture generates from the realm of dreams and visions but that its final product – a building - dwells in the reality of the everyday. As architects, our challenge is to merge things such as a complex program, a client’s unique lifestyle or a sustainable agenda with the reality of built space and its economic and social implications.  We also believe that the initial understanding of a client’s need and its translation to a network of spaces is the most important phase of a successful project.

GENERAL CONTRACTING SERVICES:

By acting as the General Contractor and overseeing the construction process, we can provide economically viable options and maintain the integrity of the design.  In essence by providing both the design and acting as the GC we become a design-builder.  Being a design-builder allows us more flexibility with the design process and more control over the budget.  With design-build we can have tighter construction schedules, ensure a high quality of construction, eliminate mistakes from poor communication (between architect & contractor) and guarantee a design solution will be built within the Client’s budget.  Likewise since we are building our own designs it is in our interest to maintain a high level of detail and craftsmanship.

We maintain General Liability insurance coverage for construction.   We maintain a safe and orderly worksite for the protection of our subs and to better supervise the construction process. Additionally, we strive to be conscientious of green building practices, limit construction waste and recycle whenever possible.

Throughout the years we have built a network of trusted subcontractors and fabricators that allow us to deliver projects that are in budget and maintain the original architectural vision.  Our subs give us valuable feedback when we are trouble shooting a problem, and we work with some of the most experienced and talented people in the industry.
